- ➤ Today, the High Springs Mobile Food Bank hosts a Thanksgiving food giveaway to help families have a full dinner plate—volunteers from across North Central Florida have donated their time and resources to the effort. WCJB
- ➤ TV20 Chief Meteorologist Mike Potter, who forecasted weather for North Central Florida for over 33 years, announced his retirement on November 26th+ marking the end of his long career. WCJB

- ➤ A developer plans a new Patel Fuel Spires gas station next to a luxury apartment complex in northwest Ocala, with 7,000 square feet of commercial space and 52 parking spots at 5149 NW Blitchton Road. The project, which is expected to generate 1,383 net new trips, is set for further review by the planning and zoning commission—final approval will come later from the county board—. Ocala-News
- ➤ An Ocala business owner said that employee impairments linked to kratom use have hurt her business and urged Mayor Marciano to keep retail restrictions—she said that letting two employees go and counseling another shows the dangers of the substance for both workers and local businesses.
