ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On October 17th at 6:15 a.m., a 65-year-old Marion County resident hit a new curb on SR 200 near Texas Roadhouse, blowing out her tire and spending nearly $600 on repairs as she drove to work—she said workers were already removing that section and she expects the state to reimburse her and remove all such curbs to prevent future harm. - ➤ A rally on Oct. 18 — held on the Ocala downtown square — saw participants voice differing opinions on the open carry of firearms. Ocala StarBanner
- ➤ Today in downtown Ocala, over 1,000 people joined a 'No Kings' protest — a major part of a nationwide free speech debate — while an open carry event unfolded nearby with police on scene to monitor the tensions. WCJB
