- ➤ Florida gas prices fell last week to an average of $2.87 per gallon for regular fuel, down from $2.98 as reported by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. A year ago, the average price was about 6% higher and state prices were roughly 6.2% lower than the national average. Ocala StarBanner
