- ➤ A 66 year old man was killed after he was struck by a car while walking on County Road 464 near Bahia Road in Marion County on Wednesday night and troopers are searching for the driver who fled the scene. FOX 35 Orlando
- ➤ Two 19-year-old men and a 15-year-old boy were sentenced—life for the adults and 40 years for the teen—for their roles in the triple homicide of three teenagers that occurred in Marion County in March 2023 near Ocklawaha. Ocala-News
- ➤ Ocala police arrested an armed robbery suspect who threatened Taco Bell employees with a rock on Thursday at a fast food restaurant — body cam footage of the arrest has been released. WCJB
- ➤ MCSO said a man used stolen credit cards to spend $4,274 on electronics at Ocala Best Buy on May 2, where surveillance footage showed him purchasing an Apple MacBook Pro 14, an iPad 13 Pro, an Apple Pencil Pro and an Apple Magic Keyboard while investigators continue to search for him.
