- ➤ Ocala Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire at the intersection of SE 17th Street and SE 18th Avenue on July 10 at 8:38 p.m.—firefighters quickly controlled the flames on a GMC pickup truck after all occupants had safely exited. Ocala-News

- ➤ A new Wawa is nearly finished at the southwest intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and SE 52nd Street near Circle K — BP in south Ocala. It will become the city's eighth Wawa location and join several built since 2019. Ocala-News
