ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Marion County Fire Rescue said a fire at a home on 48th Avenue in Ocala killed three dogs and one cat shortly after 1 p.m. today, and firefighters controlled the blaze in about 10 minutes without injuring anyone as investigators search for the cause. WCJB

- ➤ United Launch Alliance will launch an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:25 p.m. ET Monday, June 16 to send the second batch of Amazon satellites for Project Kuiper into low Earth orbit. - ➤ Gov. Ron DeSantis warned that any violence at planned 'No Kings' protests will be met with law enforcement—local police, sheriffs, highway patrol and the National Guard stand ready. More than 75 protests are scheduled statewide as part of a national demonstration and the governor stressed that peaceful protests are allowed while any violent actions will not be tolerated. - ➤ A new season of Chopper Cops will premiere on Paramount+ on June 17 and will feature the Marion County Sheriff's Office Air-1 helicopter team—who will launch high-speed pursuits—in 10 new episodes. - ➤ Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill on Monday granting a special beverage license that lets the World Equestrian Center serve alcoholic drinks on-premises and sell wine and malt beverages off-premises.
