  • Firefighters report that the Lochloosa West wildfire is 80% contained after burning 956 acres as crews work overnight to control the blaze. The team says they are monitoring the fire and will update as more details become available.  WCJB

  • An Ocala resident wrote to county commissioners asking for a moratorium on new building projects as rapid developments replace historic brick structures and reduce horse farms (threatening local rural character).
