- ➤ Barons Creek Vineyards, a Texas-based company, opened its new wine tasting room at 16 SW Broadway Street in downtown Ocala on May 9 to serve its award-winning wines from Texas, California, and Spain. The tasting room offers wine flights and locally sourced charcuterie for $25 per tasting (open Tuesday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.).
