- ➤ Today, Ocala police responded to a bank robbery when a white male suspect entered a bank to demand cash and used a teller as a shield before fleeing in a vehicle that flipped on its side near Southern Pig and Cattle along SE Maricamp Road after a six-minute chase reaching speeds up to 90 mph—one suspect who raised his handgun was shot in the wrist and is expected to recover while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates.
