- ➤ Marion County Animal Services offers adoptable pets including Callie (a friendly 5-year-old dog), Dutchess (a 2.5-year-old kitten who loves fleece), and Beaver (a curious 2-year-old dog); the $50 fee covers spay/neuter, licensing, vaccinations, and microchip, and the shelter welcomes visits Tuesday through Saturday.
