Becoming: An Exhibition Opening Reception by Heather Dawn Batchelor and Valerie Lacefield

About this event

Becoming explores the seasons that shape a life: love, identity, family, faith, loss, growth, reinvention, and the continual journey toward becoming more fully ourselves. Through Batchelor’s expressive abstraction and Lacefield’s figurative work, two women offer distinct perspectives on experiences that are deeply personal and ultimately universal.

When? First Friday · November 6, 2026 (5–7 PM) Where? MCA's The Brick Gallery · Downtown Ocala Music by Becky Baby. Free entry. Exhibit will be on display through November 28, 2026.
